[ PROCLAMATION NO. 55, October 08, 1962 ]

EXTENDING THE NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE PHILIPPINE TUBERCULOSIS SOCIETY, INC., UP TO DECEMBER 31, 1962

WHEREAS, the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc., was authorized to conduct a national fund and educational campaign during the period from August 19 to September 30, 1962, under Proclamation No. 37, dated June 29; 1962; 1962; and

WHEREAS, the Society needs additional time to realize its quota of P600,000 to maintain its health services to the people;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the National Educational and Fund Campaign of the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc., up to December 31, 1962.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 8th day of October, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-two.
