AN ACT TO AMEND ARTICLE SIX OF CHAPTER FORTY OF THE REVISED ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS SECTION FOURTEEN HUNDRED AND NINETY-EIGHT-A, IMPOSING A TAX ON SACCHARINE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same :

SECTION 1. Article six of Chapter forty of the Revised Administrative Code is hereby amended by inserting a new section, to be known as section fourteen hundred and ninety-eight-A, which shall read as follows:

"SEC. 1498-A. Tax on saccharine .—On saccharine there shall be collected a tax of sixty pesos per kilogram."

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
