DECLARING THURSDAY, 11 AUGUST 2022, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF SAMAR

WHEREAS, on 11 August 2022, Thursday, the Province of Samar will commemorate its declaration as a province;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Samar be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to the public health measures of the national government;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, VICTOR D. RODRIGUEZ, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Thursday, 11 August 2022, a special (non-working) day in the Province of Samar.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
