CLEARANCE OF SHIPMENTS OF FTI-SEZ REGISTERED ENTERPRISES

Objective:

1. To facilitate the Customs clearance for imports and exports of enterprises located at the FTI-Special Economic Zone, and

2. To contribute to the industrial productivity of the FTI-SEZ.

Administrative Provision:

In addition to its present functions and responsibilities and pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 626 dated 1 May 2004 designating parts of the FTI complex as special economic zone, the Port of Manila (POM) FTI Office is hereby tasked to process shipments of enterprises registered with the FTI-Special Economic Zone subject to existing and applicable rules and regulations.

The POM-FTI office is also mandated to maintain a systematic recording of all transactions and shall submit relevant reports thereof to the District Collector periodically and/or as maybe required by him.
