OFFICIAL ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF FOREIGN LICENSE

Evaluators of the License Section in the Operations Division found out that numerous applications for conversion of foreign licenses to Philippine drivers’ licenses especially those that are not English were translated by schools which are not accredited nor acknowledged by this Office causing its rejection.

In this connection, you are hereby directed to accept for conversion those foreign licenses that are in English or those translated to english by the Embassy or Consular Office of the country of origin.

Effective immediately.
