FILING OF CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS BEFORE THE OMBUDSMAN BY ANY GSIS OFFICIALS

RESOLVED, that as the exigencies may require and to protect the interest of the GSIS, any GSIS official, including the Head of the Investigation Unit and/or the President and General Manager, may on their own initiate the filing of criminal complaints before the Ombudsman, or cases before the courts, or other appropriate government offices. However, criminal complaints filed in the name of the GSIS shall be instituted only upon prior Board approval.

RESOLVED, FINALLY, that the above-mentioned resolution be incorporated in the Rules of Procedure in Administrative Investigation of GSIS Employees and Officials (under PPG No. 178-04 approved per Board Resolution No. 155 dated June 29, 2004).
