ADDENDUM TO OFFICE ORDER NO. 014-93, S. 1993 RE: GUIDELINES ON THE STRICT IMPLEMENTATION/OBSERVANCE OF THE CLASSIFICATION REQUIREMENT FOR IMPORTED/BAREBOAT CHARTERED INTERISLAND VESSELS

After due consideration/assessment/evaluation of the existing drydocking capabilities, availability of space and scheduling in selected MARINA-licensed shipyards vis-a-vis the number/tonnage of vessels previously approved for importation/bareboat chartering and correspondingly required classification pursuant to pertinent memorandum circulars/rules/regulations covering the period 1988-1993, Office Order No. 014-93, s. 1993 shall hereby take effect on 01 August 1994.

Strict implementation of the Order by all concerned MARINA Offices is hereby enjoined. The franchising Office is specifically directed to notify/advise the affected ship operators/owners of compliance to this Order immediately.
