[ PROCLAMATION NO. 100, April 03, 1963 ]

DECLARING APRIL 30, 1963, AS WOMEN’S RIGHTS DAY

In order that our people may know and appreciate the important role played by women in the economic, social, and political progress of the nation, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare April 30, 1968, as Women’s Rights Day.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 3rd day of April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-three.
