PAYMENT OF LIENS RELATIVE TO THE SWAPPING OF THE "B-1" SUGAR VIZ-A-VIZ "B" OR DOMESTIC SUGAR

A clarification is hereby issued concerning the abovementioned subject wherein the "B-1" or Food Processors'/Exporters' sugar swapped into "B" or Domestic sugar shall no longer be subject to payment of liens since the aforesaid original "B-1" sugar is being liquidated at a price of P700.00/LKg-bag inclusive of liens paid directly to the mills. However, the original "B" or Domestic sugar swapped into "B-1" sugar shall be subject to payment of liens upon withdrawal of the corresponding sugar.

All concerned should be guided accordingly.
