[ DBM CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 2000-20, December 01, 2000 ]
PROHIBITION ON THE GRANT OF AMELIORATION ASSISTANCE OR ANY OTHER SIMILAR BENEFIT FOR FY 2000
1.0 Inasmuch as there is no appropriation covering the payment of Amelioration Assistance under Republic Act No. 8760, the FY 2000 General Appropriations Act, the grant of the same or other similar benefits is strictly proscribed in FY 2000.
2.0 Anyone found violating the provisions of this Circular shall be severely dealt with in accordance with the applicable provisions of existing administrative and penal laws.
3.0 Please be guided accordingly
