IMPORTATION OF HUBLESS PIPES AND FITTINGS

For your information and guidance, the decision of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. SP No. 48143 entitled Total 2000 Corporation vs. Office of the Executive Secretary and Filipino Pipe and Foundry Corporation is at present subject of a Petition for Review on Certiorari before the Supreme Court docketed under G.R. No. 141465.

In view thereof, pending resolution on the said Petition and the issue of whether the importation, use, sale and disposition of hubless pipes and fittings is still sub-judice, importation thereof is in the meantime disallowed.

Kindly be guided accordingly.
