[ PROCLAMATION NO. 654, January 16, 2019 ]

DECLARING MONDAY, 21 JANUARY 2019, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LIPA, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS

WHEREAS, on 20 January 2019, Sunday, the City of Lipa, Province of Batangas, will mark the celebration of the MAKALANYOG Festival;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Lipa, to celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that 21 January 2019, Monday, instead of 20 January 2019 which falls on a Sunday, be declared a special (non-working) day; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Lipa be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 21 January 2019, a special (non-working) day in the City of Lipa, Province of Batangas.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
