AMENDMENT TO SUGAR ORDER NO. 8, SERIES OF 1998-1999; RE: REVISED SUGAR POLICY FOR CROP YEAR 1998-1999
WHEREAS, there is a need to clarify certain provision of Sugar Order No. 8, Series of 1998-1999, dated 15 March 1999;
NOW, THEREFORE, under and by virtue of the powers vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration, it is hereby ordered that:
SECTION 1. Mill companies that have already issued the weekly quedan-permits pertaining to week-ending 21 March 1999 and thereafter prior to their receipt of Sugar Order No. 8, Series of 1998-1999, shall make the necessary adjustments on the succeeding week-endings so that the total production covered by week-ending 21 March 1999 and thereafter shall conform with the following classifications and percentages:
"A" or U.S. Quota Sugar - 10%
"B" or Domestic Sugar - 89%
"B-1" or Food Processors'/
Exporters Sugar - - 1%

SECTION 2. Other provisions of Sugar Order No. 8, Series of 1998-199, dated 15 March 1999, shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. Provisions of Sugar Orders, Circular Letters, and/or other rules and regulations contrary to or inconsistent with this Sugar Order are hereby amended, modified or revoked accordingly.
