TO: The Director, Bureau of Air Transportation The Manager, Manila International Airport The Minister of the Budget

In view of the World Tourism Conference to be hosted by the Philippine Government in Manila from September 24-to October 13, 1980 and considering that the New International Airport will still not be ready in time, you are hereby directed to immediately undertake, in time for the arrival of the delegates for this Conference, the necessary refurbishing, renovation and general face-lifting of the IMF Lounge, arrival and departure areas of the present international airport.

The Minister of the Budget is likewise directed to make available and release from any appropriate funds the amount of P150,000,00 for the above purpose.

This Letter of Instructions shall take effect immediately.

Done in the City of Manila, this 30th day of July, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty.
