1995 FLOOR PRICES OF AIR-CURED BURLEY LEAF TOBACCO

Effective immediately, the minimum prices per grade/kilo of Native (Dark) Cigar Leaf Tobacco for the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Ifugao and Quirino (Region II) are as follows:

HIGH GRADE P28.00

(Primera, Segunda, Tercera Quarta Superior)

MIDDLE GRADE

M - 1 (Quarta Buena, Quinta Buena) 22.00

M - 2 (Quarta Contrata, Quarta Corriente) 18.00

LOW GRADE

L - 1 - Quanta 13.50

L - 2 - Sexta 7.50

This Memorandum Circular is being issued pursuant to the regulatory powers of the National Tobacco Administration under Executive Order No. 245 and after a consultative conference with all sectors concerned which was conducted on May 17, 1995 in Ilagan, Isabela.

All concerned are enjoined to observe strictly the aforesaid floor-farm gate prices of crop 1995-96 native (Dark) cigar leaf tobacco grown in Region II.
