AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 94-006 (AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 94-001 CONSOLIDATED GUIDELINES ON FARE DISCOUNTS TO STUDENTS, ELDERLY/SENIOR CITIZENS, AND DISABLED PERSONS)

Effective fifteen (15) days after the filing of three (3) copies hereof with the U.P. Law Center, in accordance with Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11, dated October 9, 1992, Memorandum Circular No. 94-006 is hereby amended with respect to the fare discounts of disabled persons in taxis.

Accordingly, all taxi operators/drivers shall henceforth, give no less than 20% across the board fare discount (instead of the P7.50 for ordinary and P12.50 for airconditioned taxis) based on the fare-registered in the taximeters.

Failure of the operator/driver to comply with this Memorandum Circular shall subject the offender to the fines/ penalties imposed under Part IV of Memorandum Circular No. 94-001.
