BAN ON THE IMPORT OF SLIMMING DRUG TO TAIWAN

The Taiwan Council of Labor Affairs (CLA) has issued a memorandum prohibiting foreign workers from bringing to Taiwan the prohibited slimming drug named "PHENTERMINE". Carrying of such prohibited drug is punishable by imprisonment of not more than seven (7) years plus a fine of NT150,000.00.

All agencies are enjoined to reiterate this warning to their selected workers.
