SPEEDY DISPOSITION OF SEIZURE CASES

In order to ensure the speedy disposition of all seizure cases, you are hereby directed to fast track resolution thereof and conduct marathon hearings, if necessary. All seizure cases must be decided within thirty (30 days from the issuance of the Warrant of Seizure and Detention (WSD).

This directive notwithstanding, the District Collectors concerned shall make sure that the requirements of due process are properly complied with
