CLARIFICATION REGARDING THE DOWNGRADING TO RED LANE OF ALL SHIPMENTS FROM HIGH RISK PORTS
A. For 100% Examination
1. Shipments from Fujian, China
2. Shipments from Xiamen, China
3. Shipments from Shanghai, China
4. Shipments from Hongkong transhipped from Fujian, Xiamen, Shanghai, China
5. Shipments from Kaoshiung, Taiwan transhipped from Fujian, Xiamen, Shanghai, China
However, for low-risk importations such as those of reputable companies and brokers and by the very nature of the cargoes, the examining Customs officer together with the CIIS and ESS OICs may exercise their sound discretion to just conduct regular examination for shipments coming from the above listed ports.
B. For Regular Examination
1. Other shipments from China
2. Other shipments from Hongkong
3. Other shipments from Kaoshiung, Taiwan
