[ PROCLAMATION NO. 51, October 20, 2010 ]

DECLARING THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2010, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF QUEZON

WHEREAS , Thursday, November 4, 2010, the Province of Quezon marks the remembrance and recognition of the heroism of Hermano Puli, the great man from Lukban, Quezon;

WHEREAS , it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Quezon be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR . Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Thursday, November 4, 2010, as special (non-working) day in the Province of Quezon.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF , I have hereunto set my hand and cause the seal of the Republic of the Philippine to be affixed.
