IMPLEMENTATION OF SHIPBOARD MARINE POLLUTION EMERGENCY PLANT FOR NOXIOUS LIQUID SUBSTANCES

Notice is hereby given to all concerned that, pursuant to Regulation 16, Annex II of MARPOL 73/78, which requires an Administration-approved SHIPBOARD MARINE POLLUTION EMERGENCY PLAN for noxious liquid substances, domestic ships 150 gross tons and above, certified to carry the aforecited substances in bulk, shall be required to comply with the same effective 01 July 2003. For information and guidance of all concerned.
