DECLARING TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MASBATE
WHEREAS , Tuesday, September 30, 2008, marks the Cityhood Anniversary of the City of Masbate;
WHEREAS , it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Masbate, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Tuesday, September 30, 2008, as special (non-working) day in Masbate City.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 22nd day of August, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Eight.
