UPGRADED "PHILIPPINES 2000" DRIVER'S LICENSE

Pursuant to DOTC Department Order No. 94-828 ( see below ) dated 28 October 1994 implementing the Contract with AMPI dated 14 July 1994, the upgraded driver's license with the "Philippines 2000" sign printed at the upper left corner is hereby implemented effective immediately. AMPI shall take the colored photograph of the driver for scanning, printing and encoding into the driver's data base files in the Central Processing Center at NO additional cost to the driver applicant. For the guidance of all concerned.

Department Order No. 94-828 28 October 1994 Additional License Cost

In view of the satisfactory upgrading of the Philippine Driver's License Production under the contract with AMPI dated 18 July 1994, the p rice increase per licence produced shall be P37.00 including the cost of the colored picture of the driver to be taken at the LTO by the official photographer of AMPI, and inclusive of the new expanded Value Added Tax or any other new taxes which shall be charged to LTO.
