AMENDING DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 97-1097, DATED 29 SEPTEMBER 1997 (PROVIDING STANDARD CLASSIFICATION FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT CONVEYANCES) REMOVING SEDAN, AUV, VAN, PICK-UP AND STATION WAGON FROM THE STANDARD CLASSIFICATION FOR SHUTTLE SERVICE

Acting on the recommendation of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), the Department hereby APPROVES to modify Paragraph 7 of Department Order 97-1097, dated 29 September 1997, which now reads:

Vehicle Type : Bus, Mini-Bus, Coasters

Route : Without fixed route to and from place of work

Ventilation : Ordinary or Airconditioned

Fare : Approved by LTFRB

Basis for Granting Franchise :

Compliance with all the requirements Prescribed by LTFRB :

Operation : Special transport of employees and Homeowners Association members only No Picking-up and Dropping-off passengers between the Designated Termination points

Accordingly, the LTFRB is hereby directed to formulate guidelines for the implementation of this Department Order.

This amendment shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following its publication in at least two newspapers of general circulation and filing with the University of the Philippines Law Center.
