SUPPLEMENTAL GUIDELINES ON THE REVISED PROCEDURES IN THE COLLECTION AND REMITTANCE OF SRA SUGAR LIENS/FEES AND CHARGES PURSUANT TO SUGAR ORDER NO. 6, SERIES OF 1999-2000
Pursuant to Sugar Order No. 6, Series of 1999-2000, the following supplemental guidelines covering the revised procedures in the collection and remittance of SRA liens/fees and charges imposed on sugar quedans covering sugar withdrawals and production of mills and refineries are hereby promulgated:
1. Monitoring fee of P1.20/LKg-Bag shall be based on total raw sugar melted for refining for a given week (from 12:01 AM of Monday up to 12:00 Midnight of Sunday), instead of refined sugar produced.
2. The mill/refinery company shall make payment of the said monitoring fee to the SRA Sugar Production Control and Regulation Officers (SPCROs) and/or Sugar Production Regulation Assistants (SPRAs) every Monday of the following week.
This Circular Letter shall take effect immediately.
