[ PROCLAMATION NO. 655, June 28, 2004 ]
DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JUNE 30, 2004, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF CEBU
WHEREAS , the oath-taking of the President will take place in the Province of Cebu on June 30, 2004; and
WHEREAS , it is fitting and proper that the people of Cebu be given opportunity to participate in this momentous and historic occasion.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO , executive Secretary, by order of her excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, June 30, 2004, as special (non-working) day in the Province of Cebu.
IN WITHNESS THEREOF , I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 28th day of June, in the year of our Lord, Two Thousand and Four.
