AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION ON OFFICIAL TIME OF LAWYERS IN CENTRAL LUZON IN THE REGIONAL CONVENTION OF THE INTEGRATED BAR OF THE PHILIPPINES

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Central Luzon Region will be holding its Regional Convention on June 28 to 30, 2012 at the Mimosa Convention Hall, Clarkfield, Pampanga, with the theme, “The IBP Promoting Integrity and Accountability in the Justice System.”

In the said IBP Convention, a Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Seminar will be conducted.

In this connection, all heads of government agencies, departments, bureaus and offices, including government-owned and/or controlled corporations and their subsidiaries/units in the Central Luzon Region, shall authorize their respective lawyers to attend and participate in the abovementioned IBP Regional Convention on official time, at no cost to the government except payment of their salaries, provided such attendance will not adversely affect the functions of their respective offices, as well as, the delivery of services to the public.
