SECOND EXTENSION OF APPLICATION FOR EXPORT TO FILL UP THE SECOND QUARTER U.S. SUGAR QUOTA FOR QUOTA YEAR 1996-1997

Circular Letter No. 9, Series of 1996-1997 dated 05 November 1996, is further amended to extend the time within which to submit applications for export to fill up the U.S. Quota for the Second Quarter from November 15 to November 29, 1996.

For the purpose of transparency, hereunder are the names of sugar exporters for the Second Quarter with verified volumes as of 31 October 1996 and 15 November 1996, showing the balance of 8,274.02 M.T. to be filled until November 29, 1996, to wit:

Listed exporters shall undertake actual shipment using quedan-permits duly verified by the SRA. These quedan-permits are non-transferable. The exporter who requested verification of the quedan-permits with SRA are the only authorized party to export using the verified quedan-permits.

The Authority of the SRA over the sugar exporters, who are shipping out sugar to fill up the U.S. Sugar Quota, shall automatically cease and shall have no force and effect after the departure of the vessel/s.

The remaining balance of 8,274.02 M.T. as stated above shall be pro-rated among exporters who shall apply with the SRA on or before the November 29, 1996 deadline.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
