AMENDMENT TO SECTION 2, REINSTATEMENT FEE TABLE OF SUGAR ORDER NO. 8, SERIES OF 2008-2009

WHEREAS, Sugar Order No. 3, Series of 2008-2009 imposes a reinstatement penalty of P10.00 per Lkg-bag per day on homeless “D” or World Market sugar, and the same policy is still in force and effect;

WHEREAS, Sugar Order No. 8, Series of 2008-2009 provided for moratorium on the imposition of the above-mentioned reinstatement penalties;

WHEREAS, many requests have been submitted for the reinstatement of “D/Dx” sugar produced prior to Crop Year 2006-2007, which are not covered by Section 2. Reinstatement Fee Table of Sugar Order No. 8, Series of 2008-2009.

WHEREAS, the primary intention of SRA in instituting the moratorium is to flush out all the homeless “D” quedans for sugar produced in all prior crop years;

NOW THEREFORE, under and by virtue of the authority vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA), the following is hereby ordered:

SECTIO N 1 . Amendment to the Reinstatement Fee Table.

Section 1. Reinstatement Fee Table of Sugar Order 8, Series of 2008-2009 is hereby amended as follows:

Production Date/Year Reinstatement Fee per LKg-Bag

1. CY 06-07 and prior crop years - P50.00

2. CY 07-08 - P30.00

3. CY 08-09 (up to Week Ending Feb. 1, 2009) - P10.00

SECTION 2. This Sugar Order takes effect immediately.

SECTION 3. All other provisions of Sugar Order No. 8, Series of 2008-2009 remain in full force and effect.
