DEFERRING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2000-015 (SMOKE BELCHING PUVS AND SANCTIONS THEREON)

Considering that the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 7649 otherwise known as the Philippine Clean Air Act of 1999 are still being discussed including the standards to be used in smoke emission testing as well as the imposition of sanctions for violations thereof, the implementation of Memorandum Circular No. 2000-015 is hereby deferred until further order from this Board.

This Memorandum Circular takes effect immediately.
