CONDUCT OF NATIONWIDE PERIODIC INVENTORY OF ALL FRANCHISED, REGISTERED AND OPERATIONAL PUBLIC UTILITY BUSES

SUBJECT : CONDUCT OF NATIONWIDE PERIODIC INVENTORY OF ALL FRANCHISED, REGISTERED AND OPERATIONAL PUBLIC UTILITY BUSES

The Board in the exercise of its mandate to regulate, enforce, and administer public land transportation services, and in order to effectively monitor public utility vehicles, the Board shall conduct the inventory and inspection of all public utility buses on a yearly basis starting 1 January 2012.

Accordingly, failure on the part of the operators to subject their units for inventory and inspection shall cause the exclusion of such units from the authorized units of the franchise(s) in accordance with the LTFRB rules of practice and procedure:

This Memorandum shall take effect fifteen (15) days after the filing of three (3) copies hereof with the UP. Law Center in accordance with the Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11, dated October 9t 1992, and any or all Board issuances inconsistent are hereby modified accordingly, superseded and/or revoked.
