INTRODUCTION AND USE OF RECLINING SEATS IN THE SECOND CLASS AIR-CONDITIONED PASSENGER ACCOMMODATION OF PASSENGER-CARRYING SHIPS ENGAGED IN THE DOMESTIC TRADE

The introduction and use of RECLINING SEATS in the Second Class Air-Conditioned Passenger Accommodation, as an additional type of accommodation on passenger carrying ships engaged in the domestic trade with more than four (4) hours of travel time is hereby ALLOWED. This will provide the passengers an option for another type of accommodation charging lower deregulated passenger rates. The minimum service standards in the Installation of Reclining Seats Accommodation will be incorporated in a Memorandum Circular to be issued subsequently. This Advisory shall take effect immediately.
