AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TEN THOUSAND PESOS, OR SO MUCH THEREOF AS MAY BE NECESSARY, FOR COMBATING CHOLERA IN THE DEPARTMENT OF MINDANAO AND SULU.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:

SECTION 1. The sum of ten thousand pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the Insular Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of combating cholera in the Department of Mindanao and Sulu, to be expended by the chief health officer thereof, subject to the approval of the department governor.

SECTION. 2. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
