AMENDMENT TO MARINA M.C. NO. 159 ON COVERAGE

Notice is hereby given to all concerned that in the implementation by this Authority of the National Safety Management (NSM) Code pursuant to MARINA M.C. No. 159, “Open deck ships with outriggers and below 35 Gross tons” are exempted from the coverage of the aforecited Circular.

However, this Authority shall consequently issue the pertinent Memorandum Circular implementing the National Safety Management Standards covering said ships.

Please be guided accordingly.
