1995 FLOOR PRICES OF FLUE-CURED VIRGINA LEAF TOBACCO

After a series of consultative conferences with the Virginia tobacco farmers and members of the Philippine Aromatic Tobacco and Development Association, Inc. (PATDA), the following floor prices by grade of Virginia tobacco have been agreed upon to wit:

Suggested Price Not lower than P10.00

This Memorandum Circular is being issued pursuant to the regulatory powers of the National Tobacco Administration under Executive Order No. 245 and after a series of Provincial and National Tobacco Tripartite Conferences with all sectors of the tobacco industry.

All concerned are therefore enjoined to observe strictly the aforesaid floor-farm gate prices of flue-cured Virginia tobacco which shall take effect during the 1995 trading season.
