AMENDMENTS OF D.O. 54-A

This pertains to Department Order No. 54-A, Series of 1991, regarding the implementing guidelines on equipment utilization and maintenance. For clarity and to preclude any controversies in the interpretation, the second sentence of Provision B-4 of said Department Order as quoted: "The 15% EMK funds may not be used for payment of rentals of private equipment nor to fund highway MBC", is hereby amended and re-phrased as follows:

"The 15% EMK fund must neither be used for payment of rentals of private equipment nor to fund highway maintenance by contract (MBC)".
