DECLARING WEDNESDAY, 22 MARCH 2023, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BALIWAG, PROVINCE OF BULACAN

WHEREAS, on 22 March 2023, Wednesday, the City of Baliwag, Province of Bulacan, will mark the celebration of the 160 th birth anniversary of Mariano Ponce;

WHEREAS, Mariano Ponce, a native of Baliwag, Bulacan, was a prominent member of the propaganda movement and one of the leading figures in the Philippine reform movement during the Spanish colonization;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Baliwag be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Wednesday, 22 March 2023, a special (non-working) day in the City of Baliwag, Province of Bulacan.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
