[ PROCLAMATION NO. 416, June 28, 2003 ]

DECLARING FRIDAY, JULY 4, 2003 AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN CADIZ CITY

WHEREAS , Friday, July 4, 2003, marks the 36th Charter Day anniversary of Cadiz City;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of Cadiz City be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city's history with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO , Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO , do hereby declare Friday, July 4, 2003 as a special (non-working) day in Cadiz City.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF , I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 28th day June, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Three.
