Guidelines for Licensing of Distributors
In compliance with Memo Order No. 08 dated 21 March 1988, following are the VRB’s guidelines for the licensing of distributors and the renewal thereof: An applicant:
1. must be a Filipino citizen, or at least 60% Filipino owned in the case of a corporation or partnership;
2. must not have been previously convicted for violation of P.D. 1987 or its implementing Rules;
3. must accomplish an application form and comply with the requirements therein stated;
4. must pay registration fee of P500.00. Such fee is non-refundable in case the application is denied;
5. must present a contract with any licensed videogram distributor or dealer, or a duly authenticated document showing that the applicant is duly authorized retailer of videograms over which said distributor or dealer or has acquired the homeviewing distribution or dealership rights; and
6. must pay a yearly license fee of P500.00
