PRO-POOR REDUCED VESSEL FEES
Pursuant to the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 474, the Public Service Act (C.A. No. 146), as amended, Executive Order No. 125/125A, Executive Order No. 292 (Administrative Code of 1987), and in line with the pro-poor program of the Estrada Administration, please be informed that the MARINA Board during its 148th meeting on June 3, 1999, as amended in its Special Meeting held on 11 June 1999, had approved the following pro-poor reduced vessel fees up to 30 June 2000:
1. Below 3 Gross Tonnage (GT) Fishing Boats to cover the issuance of:
-P250
- Certificate of Number
- Permit to Operate
- MBOL
- Builder Certificate
2. Below 3 Gross Tonnage (GT) Passenger/Cargo Vessels to cover the issuance of: P500
- Certificate of Ownership (CO)
- Certificate of Vessel Registry (CVR)
- Admeasurement
- Special Certificate of Inspection
- Inspection Fee
MBOL
Bay and River License
- CP/PA/SP filing fee
3. 3-15 Gross Tons (GT) Passenger/ Cargo Vessels to cover the issuance of: P750
- Certificate of Ownership (CO)
- Certificate of Vessel Registry (CVR)
- Admeasurement
- Builder Certificate
- Certificate of Inspection
- Inspection Fee
- Bay and River License
- SPUO/Marine Diesel Mechanic/
Boat Captain (as applicable)
- Survey Inspection Fee
- Plans Approval
- CPC/PA/SP filing fee (if applicable)
4. Boat builders of Vessels 15 Gross Tonnage (GT) and below to cover the issuance of: P500
- License Certificate
- Inspection Fee
This Circular shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication once in a newspaper of general circulation.
