AN ACT TO FIX THE SALARY OF THE AUDITOR GENERAL AT FIFTEEN THOUSAND PESOS PER ANNUM.

Be it enacted by the National Assembly of the Philippines:

SECTION 1. The Auditor General shall receive an annual salary of fifteen thousand pesos.

SEC. 2. The amount necessary to carry out-the provision of this Act-for the rest of the fiscal year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred forty, and for the fiscal year nineteen hundred forty-one shall be taken from the savings of the appropriation for the General Auditing Office during the said fiscal years.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
