DECLARING MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2005, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF GENERAL SANTOS

WHEREAS, Monday, September 5, 2005, marks the 37th Charter Day anniversary and Tuna Festival celebration of the City of General Santos;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of General Santos be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary , by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, September 5, 2005, as special ( non-working ) day in the City of General Santos.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

DONE in the City of Manila, this 29th day of August , in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Five.
