[ HLURB RESOLUTION NO. 809, S. 2007, November 12, 2007 ]

ESTABLISHING A ONE-STOP-SHOP PROCESSING CENTER FOR HOUSING RELATED PERMITS IN THE HLURB

WHEREAS, there is a need to fast track the approval of housing related permits to meet government targets;

WHEREAS, it is proper that there is closer coordination among government agencies which grant housing clearance, permits and licenses;

WHEREAS, under EO 45, Series of 2001 different government agencies involved in the issuance of government related permits are enjoined to comply with specific time periods in the processing and issuance of said clearance, permits and licenses;

WHEREAS, Section 20(b) of RA 7279 provides for the creation of one stop shop offices in the different regions of the country for the processing, approval and issuance of clearance, permits and licenses;

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved as it is hereby resolved that a one-stop-shop center for housing permits shall be established in all the regional offices of this Board in accordance with the guidelines which shall be issued by CEO and the MOA to be entered into among the HUDCC, DENR, DAR, DILG and HLURB.
