NOTICE

Pursuant to the provisions of Batas Pambansa Blg. 325, as implemented by Ministry of Finance Order No. 6-83, the fees and charges approved by the Cabinet at its meeting held on September 19, 1985 for the Board of Energy are as follows:

I. Application for authority to change prices of petroleum products P800.00

II. Refinery:

1. Application for license for new refinery of 50,000 barrels per day or less 8,000.00

2. Application for license for new refinery of higher capacity

Add’l. fee for every 25,000 B/D capacity in excess of 50,000 B/D 800.00

3. Application for authority to increase rated capacity of existing refinery

For every 25,000 B/D or less increase in rated capacity 800.00

III. Application falling under the provisions of the Public Service Act as amended:

1. Issuance of a Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC) or Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity(CPCN) authorizing the operation of public service in the Philippines

300.00

2. Extension of validity of CPC/CPCN 300.00

3. Authority to install additional/ substitute/withdraw generating units 300.00

4. Authority to construct or increase capacity of substation 300.00

5. Approval of sale and transfer of electric service together with CPC/CPCN 300.00

6. Authority to increase/revise schedule of rates 300.00

7. Authority to increase capital stock 300.00

8. Authority to purchase electric power for re-sale to its customers 300.00

9. Approval of reappraisal or reevaluation of properties or any application filed in relation to the provisions of Sec. 16 of the Public Service Act, as amended 300.00

10. Authority to extend transmission and distribution lines 300.00

11. Authority to redesign or revamp transmission and distribution lines

300.00

12. Approval of rules and regulations 300.00

13. Approval of contract form 300.00

14. Authority to transfer power house 300.00

15. Authority to adopt/change business or trade name 300.00

16. Authority to reduce the number of hours of service 300.00

IV. Application for the provisional approval of the above mentioned applications/ petitions pending hearing and adjudication of the same 150.00

V. Application for extension of time within which to submit Annual Report of finances and operations covering a period of twelve months ending December 31st of each year 150.00

VI. Any application other than above 100.00

VII. Supervision and regulation fee: Sec. 40(e) of Public Service Act

For annual reimbursement of the expenses incurred by the Board in supervision of electric utilities and/or in the regulation or fixing of their rates

For each one hundred pesos or fraction thereof, of the capital stock subscribed or paid, or if no shares have been issued of the capital invested, or of the property and equipment, whichever is higher 0.50

The said fees shall be paid on or before September 30th of each year with a penalty of fifty per centum in case of delinquency. Provided, further, that if the fees or any balance thereof are not paid within sixty days from the said date, the penalty shall be increased by one per centum for every month of delinquency thereafter.

VIII. For the issue or increase of capital stock

For each one hundred pesos or fraction thereof of the increased capital 0.50

IX. For each permit authorizing the increase of equipment, the installation of new units or authorizing the increase of capacity or the extension of means of general extensions in the services

For each one hundred pesos or fraction thereof of the additional capital necessary to carry out the permit 0.50

X. For the inspection and certification made by the Light and Power Division of the Board of Energy for:

1. Each apparatus or single phase meter used by an electric utility

10.00

2. Poly-phase watthour meter of any electric utility 20.00

XI. Certifications issued 5.00

XII. Certified copies of official documents in the files of the Board 5.00 /1st page

Each additional page so certified 1.00

These new rates shall take effect on November 15, 1985.
