AN ACT CONVERTING THE DON JUAN MAYUGA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LEMERY, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS, INTO A PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL TO BE KNOWN AS THE BATANGAS PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Batasang Pambansa, in session assembled:

SECTION 1. The Don Juan Mayuga Memorial Hospital in the Municipality of Lemery, Province of Batangas, is converted into a provincial hospital to be known as the Batangas Provincial Hospital.

SEC. 2. The amount necessary for the construction and operation of the hospital not to exceed seven hundred fifty thousand pesos shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Health intended for new or expanded hospitals. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
