WARNING ON THE USE OF FAKE QUEDANS IN SUGAR WITHDRAWAL

It has come to the attention of this office that attempts were made to use fake Sugar Quedan-Permits to withdraw sugar from the sugar mills.

The fake Sugar Quedan-Permits appears to be new, bearing the same serial number, duly stamped, validated and signed as genuine quedan.

In view thereof, all sugar mills, traders/exporters, financial institutions and the public in general, who are engaged in the trading of sugar using Sugar Quedan-Permits as negotiable documents, are hereby advised to take precautionary measures and to report immediately to SRA, Quezon City occurrence of fake quedans.

Please be guided accordingly.
