[ PROCLAMATION NO. 815, March 21, 2005 ]

DECLARING FRIDAY, JUNE 17, 2005, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LAPU-LAPU

WHEREAS , the City of Lapu-Lapu was created on June 17, 1961 by virtue of Republic Act No. 3134;

WHEREAS , it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Lapu-Lapu be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA , Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO , do hereby declare Friday, June 17, 2005, as special (non-working) day in the City of Lapu-Lapu.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF , I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
