[ PROCLAMATION NO. 1413, November 09, 2007 ]

DECLARING MONDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2007, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN

WHEREAS , R.A. No. 6721 dated April 20, 1989, entitled "Declaring November 13 of each year a special public holiday in the Province of Pangasinan", marks the birth anniversary of the late Speaker Eugenio Perez;

WHEREAS , to enable the people of the Province of Pangasinan to celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Governor requested that Monday, November 12, 2007 be declared as special (non-working) day instead of November 13, 2007, which falls on a Tuesday;

WHEREAS , it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Pangasinan be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, November 12, 2007, as special (non-working day in the Province of Pangasinan.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
