APPLICATIONS FOR EXEMPTIONS FROM SGS PRE-SHIPMENT INSPECTION
In view of the issuance of Amended Joint Order 1-91, the Accreditation Committee, in charge of processing applications for exemption from SGS pre-shipment inspection winded up its activities last 16 March, 1998. In this connection, attached is the final report of the Secretariat on the applications which have remained pending with the committee for information and appropriate action.
Be guided accordingly.

REPORT ON THE STATUS OF APPLICATIONS FOR ACCREDITATION TO THE SGS-PRE-SHIPMENT INSPECTION SCHEME

1. HOFFEN INDUSTRIES A memorandum dated 18 February, 1998 was sent to Collector Brillo, POM, informing him for his appropriate action, the committee’s finding that the firm has been operating a garment manufacturing bonded warehouse without a license from the Bureau of Customs
2. GELMART INDUSTRIES Its accreditation expired last Jan. 10, 1998. It was granted three extensions the latest of which will expire on March 26. Firm is not yet cleared with Law Division, Port of Manila.
3. MANDARIN INTERNATIONAL Accreditation will expire on 21-98. Application is due for approval.
4. KAYLEE FASHION INC. Accreditation will expire on July 16, 1998.
