RENEWAL OF PERMITS OF PG RATED PROGRAMS

Pursuant to Section 3 of Presidential Decree 1986 and Section 5 paragraph B of the Board's Implementing Rules and Regulations, please be advised that television programs which are classified and rated "Parental Guidance" by the Board should be broadcast only from 9:00 o'clock in the evening up to 5:00 in the morning. However, as a concession to pre-sold Parental Guidance materials which cannot be shown at the right hours, only 3-month duration permit will be given. In this connection, the Board will no longer renew/extend permits to exhibit television programs which are rated and classified as "PG" and are broadcast prior to 9:00 o'clock in the evening, unless said programs are re-scheduled for the proper time slots.
